These terms cover the OrderHue plugins and this website. They’re between you and Choodle Ltd, trading as OrderHue (company no. 17506918, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom).

1. Who OrderHue is for

OrderHue is made for businesses that run WooCommerce shops. By buying Pro, you confirm you’re buying it for your business. If you are nonetheless a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

2. The free plugin

The free plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. You can use it on any number of sites. It is provided free of charge and “as is”; see section 6.

3. OrderHue Pro

  • Who sells it: Pro is sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Freemius. Freemius takes payment, charges any VAT and issues your invoice under its own terms of sale. We provide the software, updates and support.
  • Two sets of terms: Freemius’s terms of sale cover the purchase and payment. These terms cover the software, updates and support. Our money-back guarantee applies in addition to any refund rights in Freemius’s terms.
  • Licence: the Pro code is also licensed under the GPL v2 or later. Your licence key gives you updates and support for the number of sites in your plan, for as long as your subscription is active.
  • Renewal: plans renew automatically each year, at the price you first paid, unless you cancel. Freemius emails you a reminder about 30 days before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from your Freemius account or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro keeps working on your sites, but you no longer get updates or support.
  • Immediate access: you get the download and licence key straight after payment. If you’re a consumer, you also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days; our money-back guarantee covers the same period, so just email us.
  • Price changes: if we ever change the renewal price of an existing plan, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

4. Support

Support is by email and the WordPress.org forum only. See Support. We don’t offer phone or video calls, or work on your site.

5. Your responsibilities

Keep backups of your site and test changes, especially Pro rules that change order statuses or send emails, on a staging site before using them on a live shop. You’re responsible for the content of emails you send to your customers and for having a lawful basis to send them.

6. Our liability

We build and test OrderHue carefully, but we can’t promise it will be error-free or work with every theme, plugin or host.

  • We aren’t liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, or for indirect losses.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 for the free plugin).
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • If you’re a consumer, this section doesn’t limit your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including our responsibility if digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we didn’t use reasonable care and skill.

7. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change affects your next renewal, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. If you break these terms, we may cancel your licence key; the GPL licence to code you already have isn’t affected.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though if you’re a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
