OrderHue adds your own order statuses to WooCommerce, such as “Awaiting stock”, “In production” or “Ready for collection”. It is made for WooCommerce store owners.

The free plugin on WordPress.org has no limits on the number of statuses. OrderHue Pro adds rules that change statuses for you.

Install

  1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active. OrderHue needs WordPress 6.9+, WooCommerce 10.9+ and PHP 7.4+.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New, search for OrderHue, then click Install Now and Activate.
  3. Go to WooCommerce → Order statuses.

Add your first status

  1. Under Add a status, enter a Name (what you and your customers see).
  2. Enter a Slug: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, up to 17 characters. It can’t be changed later.
  3. Pick a Colour for the badge in the orders list.
  4. Tick the options you need:
    • Counts as paid: WooCommerce treats orders in this status as paid, and customers can download their files, just as with completed orders.
    • Order items can still be edited.
    • Send an email when an order enters this status; see Emails.
  5. Click Save.

The status now appears in the order edit screen, the orders list filters, the Change status to … bulk actions and your customers’ My Account → Orders page.
